This trail offers everything a runner's heart desires – without being too technical or demanding.
After a short steep climb on the road, turn left onto a forest trail that passes beautiful fields before the short but steep descent towards Sprutz waterfall begins. The roar of the waterfall can already be heard from afar. After a brief stair descent, you run behind the mighty waterfall. Now a steep climb towards Spilboden awaits. Once there, you run on the left side of the stream to a bridge that you cross. You turn onto the North Face Trail. Another short, steep climb towards Schiltalp follows. Here it flattens for the first time. The view on a nice day is breathtaking. But soon it goes down again to Suppenalp, where you cross the field behind the restaurant. You continue towards Allmendhubel, but watch out: in the lower third of the Bob Run you have to turn left onto the trail up to the Höhenlücke. Once at the top, it goes down again immediately. Take the first trail on the right to the Allmiboden valley station. About 150 m past the valley station, turn right onto the Upper Panorama Trail. Enjoy this flow trail – and don’t forget to turn left onto the Lower Panorama Trail at the big barn. Now a small climb and you are back at the starting point. Goal reached!

Public transport
Thanks to its central location in Europe, Switzerland is served by international trains from over 12 countries. Within Switzerland, Intercity trains run directly from Basel and Lucerne to the Jungfrau Region. Travelers from Zurich change trains in Bern. Trains run every half hour.
From Interlaken Ost station, we reach Mürren in one hour. We take the blue-yellow train of the Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB) to Lauterbrunnen. We board the front part of the train, as the rear part goes from Zweilütschinen to Grindelwald. Then we have two options. Via Grütschalp (cable car and train): At Lauterbrunnen station, we cross the road and take the cable car to Grütschalp. Here we transfer to a small train that takes us to Mürren. The journey from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren takes 23 minutes. Or via Stechelberg (bus and cable car): In Lauterbrunnen we take the bus towards Stechelberg and travel to the Schilthorn cable car station. Here the cable car takes us via Gimmelwald to Mürren in 10 minutes. This route takes 32 minutes.
Directions
The fastest way to the Jungfrau Region from Basel and Geneva is via Bern. From Zurich, the route via Lucerne and the Brünig Pass is recommended. The pass is open year-round.
From the south, access to the Jungfrau Region is via Grimsel or Susten Pass. Both passes are only open in summer. Alternatively, the Simplon Pass with the subsequent car shuttle through the Lötschberg tunnel is available.
Mürren is car-free. If you arrive by car, you must leave it in Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg and use public transport. The journey from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen takes about 20 minutes, to Stechelberg about 25 minutes.
Parking
In Stechelberg, there is a parking lot directly at the valley station of the Schilthorn cable car. Below the Lauterbrunnen station, there is a multi-story parking garage. Alternatively, the parking lot at the Lauterbrunnen church can be used. From here, a bus runs every half hour to the station. On foot, it takes about 10 minutes.
From the Lauterbrunnen parking garage, a covered walkway leads to the trains to Mürren. The Stechelberg parking lot is not covered.
