On this short hike, you have the opportunity to visit the imposing Burg Lichtenberg with its museums (Geoskop, Musikantenland Museum, Natural History Museum). Furthermore, you can enjoy the fantastic views over the Palatinate Highlands.
A hike along the premium trail "Veldenz Hiking Trail" (Leading Quality Trail) to the station in Kusel.
Author’s recommendation
You should allow some time for Burg Lichtenberg, the Musikantenland Museum, the prehistory museum "Geoskop" and the Natural History Museum (all museums at Burg Lichtenberg).

We strive to announce all closures caused by forest work, hunting parties or similar on our hiking trails in the region on this platform.
However, there are situations where hiking trails are closed and we have not been informed.
Any hiker who walks through closed areas (barrier tape, "Caution Hunting" etc.), even on weekends, acts grossly negligently and is responsible for their actions!
Partly the hiking trail leads over narrow paths.
Good footwear is required.
Especially in autumn, care must be taken as fallen leaves on the ground can conceal unevenness, roots, stones or holes in the path.
You must expect path impairments of this kind if you undertake a hike.
If you think certain sections of the path are not passable for you, you should bypass them.
In particular, in adverse weather conditions, natural paths may have muddy and slippery passages.
