On this path, there are eight stations that children can discover with the little bee mascots Paul, Rosa, and Fritzi. The bees show the different habitats in nature and provide exciting information about animals and plants. Along the way, children learn in an age-appropriate manner how they can protect nature themselves, so that people, as well as animals and plants, can have a diverse environment to live and explore for many, many years to come.
The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
Dear visitors of the Spürnasenweg in Albisheim,
we are happy that you want to discover the Spürnasenweg at the Wartturm together with the children.
Why was this children's discovery route created?
The topics of climate crisis and species extinction are ubiquitous. We read, see, and hear every day how the climate crisis affects our future and how biodiversity is declining. Especially our children and future generations will grow up and live with the effects. Therefore, the children of the kindergarten in Albisheim, the pupils of the Zellertal school, associations, organizations, and businesses have thought about how to sensitize children to the topics of species protection, environmental protection, and sustainability. For this purpose, eight panels were created together, with the aim of bringing children closer to the necessity of mindfulness with our environment and the importance of nature conservation in an easily understandable way.
We wish you lots of fun and a wonderful time in the nature of Albisheim!
