The easy to moderately difficult adventure hike begins at the parking lot of the Mummelseehalle. This special themed adventure trail is intended to show visitors the power of water and nature, as well as their use by humans. Already at the starting point in the Seebach spa park, the power of water is visible in the wild Acher mountain stream from the bridge to the adventure playground. Just a few meters further, we come across the first modern hydropower plant. 300 meters further upstream, we can admire a restored grain mill (Buhnefronze Mühl). Then we pass the former Schnurr sawmill, which was also powered by hydropower in the past. But hydropower was not only used for mechanical drive. Farmers increased grass growth and yield by irrigating their meadows. The Acherweg then leads past the Bohnert sawmill with a hydropower plant. After passing the timber yard, we continue along Deckerhöfe Street between the houses along the Acher and later reach the Deckerhof mill with a nice resting place via a meadow path. Then the path leads us upwards along the Seebächle, over Sommerseitenstrasse, past the mill's water outlet structure. Further above, we cross the Seebächle over two small wooden bridges. Here we leave the "water-rich zone" and hike over the Tannenteich and Silbergründle to the Fischer farm holiday. There is a self-service refrigerator in the distillery. From there, we reach the main road via the Busterbach. On the right, we see the former Börsig sawmill, which also used modern hydropower before the fire. We follow the street to the left and turn just a few meters right to Vollmer's mill with a resting place and Regiomat with cool drinks. With the mill, we have also reached the Grimmerswaldbach. Along this idyllic flowing watercourse, we hike back to the village to the starting point of our hike.
By the way, the hike can also be shortened. The Grimmerswald - Vollmer's mill variant is 4.9 km long and the Hinterseebach - Deckerhof mill variant is 5.9 km long. The path is very well signposted in nature.

Great route with children! At the tourist information, there is a nature rally map and an explorer's backpack available for loan. On the route, you have to answer questions and complete small tasks. As a reward, the children can choose something from the treasure chest!
