MounTeens detective route at the Imberg
Adventurous circular hiking route with puzzles, marbles, and hiking fun for the whole family!
This time, the story takes you on a smuggler's path at the Imberg back into the past. In this border area, much smuggling used to take place across the border between Germany and Austria. But a treasure was lost and never found again. Equipped with the MounTeens detective book "The Treasure of the Imberg" and a wooden marble, you set off on the adventure. Can you help the MounTeens find the missing treasure of the Imberg?
The eventful circular route of just under four kilometers starts at the top station of the Imberg cable car. About 17 stations with puzzles and challenges await you along the way. You will also meet three extraordinary people, all of whom can tell you something about the smugglers. A walking time of 2.5 to 3.5 hours is to be planned including puzzles, marbles, and reading—the time can vary depending on puzzle and game fun.
The opening times (especially the last gondola ride) of the Imberg cable car should be observed.

Roadbook
The circular route starts at the top station of the Imberg cable car and initially leads downhill through a wooded area to the Alpe Vordere Fluh (playground and dining option). It continues on a paved path past alpine meadows down to the Alpe Hohenegg (playground, kiosk, and climbing garden). From there, the path leads again through the forest to Waltners Alpe (dining option). Across the meadow, it goes a short way uphill to a beautiful viewpoint. After another wooded section, the top station of the Imberg cable car comes into view. A climb via a gravel path leads to the end of the circular route. After solving the puzzle, you can also enjoy the view and a snack on the sunny terrace of the Imberghaus.
Dining options, rest areas, and playgrounds are available along the way.
