Grosswinternheim Wine Trail
The 1.3 km long, family-friendly wine trail offers fascinating views over the Großwinternheim wine landscape. On five themed panels, you can learn interesting facts about the region, its wine, and the special features of this area.
Besides the magnificent view from the exposed Großwinternheim vineyards into the romantic Selz valley, along the wine trail you can learn interesting facts about the region, its wine, and the special features of this area on five themed panels. The panels provide information about work in the vineyard, local vineyards and soils, wine and sparkling wine production, as well as the significance of the typical dry stone walls and stone terracing in the vineyards. A small quiz and information about insects, birds, lizards, and snails make the wine trail family-friendly and interesting for children as well.
