Along the Glasiusweg through the Adelegg and history
The Glasiusweg, just over 4 kilometers long, leads along the Eschach through the Adelegg. Along the way, 16 interactive learning and play stations invite young and old to immerse themselves in history and get to know the unique era of glassmaking in the Adelegg. The mascot, the glass spirit Glasius, is always part of the journey and shares firsthand experiences.
The stations of the Glasiusweg bring history to life. They create the impression that the glassmakers have "just been here" and visually immerse you in the time of glassmaking.
To create this impression, almost all stations are built with materials that were available at the time and are designed to look as historically authentic as possible.
The stations are full of exciting stories from the glassmakers' era. But these stories want to be discovered. Text panels along the path are hidden under double floors, behind shutters, and in many other hiding places.

Tips and suggestions
The Hauis Tanne Glasiusweg is built and maintained by the Allgäuer Glasregion Adelegg e.V. association. In this association, the municipalities of the Adelegg work together to sustainably develop the region. The goal is to promote the region without impairing its many valuable protected assets. Furthermore, the association is committed to further research and preservation of the glassmaking history of the Adelegg. Specifically, the municipalities of Altusried, Buchenberg, Isny, Leutkirch, Weitnau, and Wiggensbach are represented in the association. Buchenberg, Isny, and Leutkirch are involved in the Glasiusweg.
