Chapel Way 4

From the train station, we head south towards Bad Rain and continue along the road to the intersection.

Here, turn right uphill to Buchenegg. At the end of this small hamlet there is a Marian chapel. We walk back a little, keep left at the edge of the village and follow the signposts via Ifen down into the valley bottom to Weißach. 

In the village, we turn left again, cross the “Weißach”, and see the Rochus chapel there. Heading south, we continue walking, cross the state road at the end of the short climb and turn right after the bus stop.

We follow the small road slightly uphill and follow the signs down to Steinebach to the Trinity chapel there. At the western end of Steinebach, we cross the valley floor. After the wooden bridge, we follow the path and walk right uphill to the village of Willis. At the end of the village, we follow the signs downhill to the right and return to Oberstaufen via the Aurel-Stadler-Weg.

Alternative: From Steinebach there is a bus connection to Oberstaufen.
