Baccus-Runde Wine Loop

Starting from the parking lot, we climb the back stairs and turn left onto the path beside the cemetery wall. After the end of the wall, we turn right, go straight ahead, and meet the path between the Zell-Weierbach and Offenburg cemeteries. Now continue left towards the signpost “Fessenbacher Kirchweg”, we cross Walther-Blumenstock-Straße and continue towards Fessenbach into the “Ries.” Here we go through the residential area and turn right onto the street “Im Schwarzwäldele”, continue on “Im Laulesgarten”, then turn left onto Winzerstraße. Before the war memorial, keep right, and at the building of the Winzerkeller, turn right down onto Fessenbacher Straße. There we follow the street to the left until we reach the Baccus statue with the fountain. Here we cross Fessenbacher Weg (Badische Weinstraße) to the signpost “Fessenbach beim Baccus”. Further on towards “F. Burda Memorial Garden” on Fessenbacher Straße and then up Winzerstraße, where we meet Senator-Burda-Straße and turn left. At the signpost “Felix-Burda Memorial Garden”, continue on the Ortenauer Weinpfad (red lozenge with blue grape) towards the signpost “Schuckshof”. Next signpost “Fichtenhalde”, continue into the forest to the signpost “Hinteres Steckenwäldele”, then the signpost “Vorderes Steckenwäldele”. Here we leave the Ortenauer Weinpfad and continue on the yellow lozenge steeply down to the “Alberbacher Chapel”. On the ridge of a vineyard, continue to the signpost “Langenberg”, then towards Albersbach. Down below, we cross the Badische Weinstraße and follow the path slightly curving left straight ahead. After about 470 meters, we meet Lerchenbergweg, which we cross, continuing straight on “Walther-Blumenstock-Straße” to the signpost “Rieshof”. Here we turn right and after about 370 meters reach our starting point again.
