Snowshoes can be rented at the Gemmi mountain station or at sports shops in Leukerbad.
Combine the trip with a little sledding adventure. Two sledding runs lead down from Gemmipass to Daubensee. Sleds can be rented at the mountain station.

Gemmipass – Jägerboden – Lämmerenalp - Lämmerenboden – Jägerboden – Gemmipass.
The path is unprepared but marked. You need snowshoes especially after recent snowfall or snowdrifts caused by wind. The ascent over the northwest slope is relatively steep. The rest of the route is mostly flat and easy.

Leuk can be reached by train (SBB), then take the bus (LLB – Leuk Leukerbad Bus Reisen) to the starting point in Leukerbad and the Gemmi-Bahn up to Gemmipass.
