From the parking lot at the Hochgratbahn, we walk towards Ehrenschwanger Valley. At the edge of the Eibele slope, we climb up to the Lower Horbachalpe. Especially the upper section can be difficult in icy conditions – it is recommended to ascend via the summer path, whose hairpin bends lie in the forest. We bypass the Alpine as a turning point and descend the same piste near the forest edge back to the parking lot. Caution when crossing the ski route.
