Becarefull if you are coming by car you will have to park in Täsch and take the train to Zermatt (Zermatt is a pedestrian city).

    Safety information

Snooc is the easiest Outdoor sport you can try. If you've never tried Snooc, you will learn in only one ride, so less then 10 minutes.
Look at this video to no more about this: Learning Snooc in 2 Min

For safety when snoocing your clothing and equipment are extremely important.  Here are a few tips so that you can be best prepared for a great – and safe – day on your sledge:

And then of course – doing it properly!

    Tips and suggestions

The run is suitable for young and old and makes any family outing an exciting and action-packed day.  If you were lacking a little in confidence the first time down you can only get braver on the second, third or fourth run and by the fifth run you could do it with your eyes closed.  Although sledging is great fun it certainly gives you an appetite, and makes you a little bit tired.  We suggest taking a break at the Riffelhaus 1853.  Try a hot chocolate, a snack or a complete lunch.  With the addition of those warming calories you can get back in the Gornergrat Railway and go up to the start at Rotenboden station again.

    Roadbook

The train starts from Zermatt city center, at the main train station.
There is a train every 10 minutes.
You can buy your train ticket AND your Snooc ticket direct from the train station.
