A path leads from the edge of the village of Guarda up into Val Tuoi. At the first junction turn right. Attention, there may be sledders on the path here! At the forest edge, the middle path leads north to Plan dal Növ, where the sledding path begins. The ascent takes about 40 minutes. At the forest edge, the path turns right. The sledding path starts steeply with a sharp right turn and then goes through several short consecutive tight curves in the forest. At the forest end, the path becomes flatter and offers a beautiful view of Guarda.

Note the wildlife quiet zone where the sledding slope starts. Above the official entry, sledding or walking is not allowed. Additionally, the sledding path is used as a winter hiking path, so please be considerate of pedestrians.

    Author’s recommendation

The sledding path is also the Schellen-Ursli winter trail. At Plan dal Növ there is a Maiensäss where you can read about the story.
