Jennerstier 2026 Individual Course
- Long distance with two laps (open class Masters / Seniors)
- Short distance with one lap (open class U18 m/f U16 m/f)
- Starting at Mitterkaser with one lap (open class U14)
- Starting at Mitterkaser and directly to the mountain station (open class U12)
The start of the king discipline, the Individual, takes place at 10:30 am. Here, the athletes have to overcome up to 1300 meters of elevation. There are several transition zones where skis are put on or taken off skins, and the mode of movement (such as carrying passages) is changed. The participants must repeatedly conquer extremely steep gullies and safely manage several free descents into the Mitterkaserkessel.
Before the best among them reach the finish at the Jennerbahn mountain station after about 60 minutes, they pass by the ridge at the small Jenner, where they are welcomed by enthusiastic spectators. The youngest participants registered so far were born in 2016 – only 10 years old.
On Sunday, in addition to the ISMF Youth World Cup ranking, the German champions of all classes will be crowned, as well as the Jennerstier ranking awarded.
