Donovaly ski mountaineering route B

We start at the central parking lot in Donovaly. We pass by the church, the municipal office, and reach the forest that we will be climbing through. After about 10-15 minutes, we arrive at a spring. Above this place, the path splits into route A and B. We keep to the left route - the yellow "B".

We continue further to the Prípor saddle, where the first beautiful views open up to us. We have the last steep climb ahead of us, which leads us to the ridge. In poor visibility, the orientation is helped by pole markings.

We still climb for about 10 minutes and emerge onto the Zvolen peak. Here we can take a break and enjoy the nature. We continue further to Nová hoľa, which is only 500 m away.

Upon reaching it, we attach our skins and prepare for the descent. We can choose the right or left ski slope - both merge into one before the end. We enjoy a descent approximately 2 km long. Depending on the current snow cover, we return to the car either on skins or on foot.
