The route to the Arventalspitze, or also marked as Alprechtspitze on some maps, offers wonderful spring slopes and a magnificent panorama of the Venediger group. The only drawback is the short ascent back up to the Klammljoch to return to the starting point. Instead of a summit cross, a border stone adorns the highest point of this rather unknown three-thousander.

From the Knutten parking lot along the Knutten stream on the toboggan run/winter hiking trail heading up the valley to the Knuttenalm. Then a short way further towards the Klammljoch, at the fork shortly above the Knuttenalm turn left slightly downhill to two alpine huts. Pass these, cross the stream and ascend a broad ridge towards the northeast into the Brunnertal to the Brunner hut. Continue into the Hochteil and keep slightly right until shortly before the pass between Schnee- and Gabelspitze you see the increasingly steep gully leading up to the Gabelspitze. Ascend this to the end; from there you can see the summit structure of the Arventalspitze, which you initially have to cross slightly downhill to the left and then ascend again in a direct line to the summit. The descent goes down to the already visible Arventalalm over seemingly endless slopes. From the Arventalalm continue straight until a sign points right and up to the Klammljoch. The approximately 50 meters of ascent is best done with skins. From the Klammljoch simply follow the forest road back to the Knuttenalm and back to the starting point.
