Alpenblick Route

Typical of Pfaffenwinkel, you can hardly expect a meter of flat terrain. Some recovery is offered at best by the wonderful section through the Osterseen nature reserve, a magnificent refuge for animals and plants. From Habach, the climbs become longer and more demanding. Murnau or Uffing at Lake Staffel are good for a break. Tip: If you have energy left on the way back, you should still tackle the climb to the summit of the Hoher Peißenberg in Peißenberg (see Pfaffenwinkel Panorama Route).
