Vignale - San Lorenzo Path - Path 732 on foot
Path without particular difficulties, also passable by mountain bike (challenging).
The itinerary starts from the public gardens below the imposing Palazzo Callori, home of the Regional Enoteca; from here you walk a short stretch on via Besso then turn left on via IV novembre called "l'Articiuchera" that is the street of artichokes, with well-kept gardens exposed to the south.
Arriving at Piazza della "Peisa" you take via Rossi towards San Lorenzo and shortly after turn right, taking the dirt road downhill that winds through the greenery; at the next fork continue straight, always accompanied by the view of the inhabited area dominating the landscape.
After passing the Merli and Interzenga farms, descend on a wide gravel road towards the valley bottom, in the direction of Altavilla station; arriving near the provincial road, without crossing it turn left always on dirt, continuing parallel to the provincial road.
You continue into the greenery among meadows and rows of trees until you reach near a house where you turn left, climbing among vineyards and cultivated fields towards the Cascine Coste located in a panoramic position; after passing them turn right onto a country lane then at the next fork turn left and then immediately right, reaching the Valle di San Pietro.
Leaving on the right a large collection pool of water you continue in the cool valley until you reach a three-way junction characterized by a group of white poplars; taking the right path you climb towards Cascina Boschetto, after which you turn left towards the San Siro farms.
Continuing through the vineyards you reach the hamlet of San Lorenzo, until you come out onto the provincial road, where you turn right near the Missionary Cross; after walking a short stretch of the paved road you turn left passing near Cascina Pomera and continuing on the descending path.
Arriving in the valley bottom you turn left and walk through the valley immersed in greenery and silence, following a straight path for about two kilometers, appreciating the birdsong and the scents of nature.
Climbing slightly you reach the view of the town of Vignale and upon reaching the inhabited area you retrace the outbound itinerary, arriving shortly at Palazzo Callori.
