Pilgrimage Path Michelbach - Moosbronn
Pilgrimage path with a length of 3.6 - 5 km (depending on the starting point in Michelbach).
The beginnings of the pilgrimage route date back to around 1683 to the veneration of Mary in Moosbronn. The prayer stations along the way are as follows: High Cross Bergacker on the Michelbach monastery path from 1867, wayside shrine at Rück from 1854, wayside shrine on Hardbergweg from 1751, wayside shrine on the Mönchkopfsattel Moosbronn 1826.
Many thousands of pilgrims have overcome the 250 steep meters of elevation over the past centuries, contemplatively, praying or singing on the way. The revival of the pilgrimage took place from Michelbach's side in 1978 by the local pastor Gerhard Waibel with his parish council chairman Hans Anselm.
The pilgrimage church Maria Hilf is the best-known pilgrimage site in the Northern Black Forest and has had a chapel dedicated to the Mother of God since 1683.
