Route 18: Two-Lake Loop

The trailhead is located at the parking lot by the boat dock in the Stegen neighborhood. You’ll walk along the lakeside promenade and through Bergstraße and Schornstraße to Buch. From there, the trail continues on well-maintained forest roads through beautiful mixed forests to the Schlagenhofen neighborhood. Passing through “Grünbichl”—which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Wörth and Mausinsel—you’ll walk through the “Oberndorf” recreational area to Bachern and back to the starting point in Stegen.
