Maria Trost Nordic Walking Route

At the end of the Alpspitzbahn parking lot, the hiking trails begin. At the first fork in the path, turn left and you reach the road, which you follow uphill through the forest. After about 2.5 km, the path to the pilgrimage church Maria Trost branches off to the left. The detour to the church with the 350-year-old lime tree is definitely worth it. Back on the road, continue uphill until you have to pass through a gate. From this point, the route leads downhill again, past the Enzianstüble and the middle station of the Alpspitzbahn. A little further downhill on the right is the Kronenhütte and further down on the left is the start of the summer toboggan run. You pass the end of the summer toboggan run and turn sharply right back to the parking lot.
