An alpine guided mountain hike with the impressive backdrop of the Rofan Mountains!
From the meeting point at Sport Ossi, the regional bus goes to Aschau. Then a transfer with a local taxi company continues to Eilalm. Here the hike begins and leads past Anderl's alpine hut (place to stop for refreshments), to the unmanaged Kreuzein Alm, and further over Roßwies to Zireiner Lake. Return via the Gappsteig trail back to Aschau bus stop.

Roadbook
Take the transfer buses from Sport Ossi to the Aschau/Wimm parking lot. From here the hike begins across alpine pasture land first to Anderl's Hut and then further over the Kreuzein high pasture to Roßwies. Enjoy the magnificent view of Zireiner Lake and the impressive Rofan Mountains.
After a short descent to Zireiner Lake, you hike along the southern side of the lake and ascend again on the west side. At the next junction, the trail continues to the Zireiner Alm and then further downwards and briefly upwards again to the Bayreuther Hut/Mountain Alm.
After a long rest, the path leads down to Weiderost, where you follow the signposted "valley station" and continue downhill to the starting point - the former Sonnwendjoch cable car parking lot.
