The classic ascent to the Watzmannhaus: From the Wimbachbrücke in Ramsau via Stuben and Mitterkaseralm up to the famous mountain hut on the Berchtesgadener mountain of destiny!
From the Wimbachbrücke in the mountaineering village Ramsau, the path leads in switchbacks up to the Stubenalm. A beautiful forest road leads up to the Mitterkaseralm, here the path condition changes. A narrow trail leads through the sparse forest onto the open area of the Falzalm. The last section up to the Watzmannhaus is more alpine and rocky.
