The descent follows path no. 6 southwards. Descend into an open hollow towards Forc. dei Castrade. Continue on path no. 6A downhill in switchbacks to a wooden ladder. The path leads through larches and mountain pine forest down to the stream bed. Follow a forest road to the state road and then to the hotel settlement at Schluderbach.

Take the bus from Bruneck/Lienz to Toblach and from there bus to Landro. More schedule information at Südtirol Mobil.
Directions
Leave the Brenner motorway A22 at Brixen and join the state road SS49. Follow this to Toblach, then turn right into the Höhlenstein valley and join the SS51. Follow this to the Höhlenstein bus stop shortly before Lake Dürrensee.
