The challenging mountain route leads over narrow mountain trails and short climbing sections on the north side to the summit of the Einstein. Caution, risk of falling rocks! At the summit, magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys make the effort worthwhile. The same way is taken back to the starting point.
This challenging mountain route starts at the Achtal P2 parking lot (former customs house) and takes you over narrow mountain trails and alpine terrain to the summit of the Einstein. The path starts steeply right away and requires good fitness, sure-footedness, and a head for heights from the beginning.
The ascent runs on the north side over partly rocky passages, where you need to prepare for short climbing sections and challenging terrain. Special caution is required in these areas, as the route leads through steep terrain with risk of falling rocks. Sure-footedness and concentrated walking are essential here to master the alpine hazards.
As you climb higher, the path becomes even more demanding, but the effort is worth it: at the summit of the Einstein you will be rewarded with magnificent panoramic views. The view extends far over the surrounding mountains and valleys.
After enjoying the view and resting at the summit, the descent follows the same path back down to the valley. Be sure to also watch out for the steep passages and falling rock hazards on the return.
This route offers a perfect mix of alpine challenge and spectacular views – ideal for experienced mountain hikers seeking an intense nature experience.
