From the summit, which has a registration box and a stamp, we get a beautiful view of the Julian Alps, western Karavanke, High and Low Tatra, central Karavanke, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, and part of Gorenjska.
Before your eyes will open mysterious forests of Gorjanci, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Snežnik, the blue Lake Bled, Jelovica, Pokljuka and other green beauties.
On a particularly clear day, in the pleasant mountain shade in front of the Prešeren hut, you can even see distant white Ljubljana. The trail to the hut is picturesque and fun. Those who pick up a log and carry it to the hut will be rewarded at the top with an especially wide smile. Don’t forget to try the excellent homemade food.

From the Ljubljana - Jesenice highway, take the Lesce exit and continue on the road towards Žirovnica and Jesenice. After a few kilometers, you will reach an intersection where the road turns right to Žirovnica and Moste (turn left if coming from Jesenice). A few meters further at the next intersection, turn left to Moste (right is Žirovnica). Continue past the monument to fallen fighters, where the road starts climbing under the railway. At the top of the hill, turn right and continue towards Završniško lake and Valvasor Lodge. The road then levels off and leads to an intersection where a road branches left to Valvasor Lodge. Continue straight towards Završnica and after 100 m park at a nicely arranged asphalt parking lot.Parking
