From the Sunnbüel mountain station, follow the Gemmi trail to Hotel Schwarenbach. Here, ascend to the right to Schwarzgrätli. Descend into the Üschenetal to Kandersteg.
Variant: Climb up to the Entschlige ridge and descend to the Engstligenalp. Return to Kandersteg by the Engstligenalp aerial cableway and bus.
