Reichspitze via Hanauer Hütte

From the parking lot in Boden over two bridges into the Angerletal and after a long flat section the stream is crossed again shortly before the Materialseilbahn Hanauer Hütte. We switch from the driveway to a good path and approach the rock ridge at the valley end. Over a bridge to the right and with two variants that merge again higher up in a right curve to the Hanauer Hütte (1922 m). Descent into a hollow with dwarf pines behind the shelter and at the signpost left path 621. Where the route branches off to the rear Dremelscharte we go left and cross a ditch. We climb to the terrain edge point 2159 m. Into the Schlenkerkar and behind another ditch point 2260 m up in a zigzag to the Galtseitejoch (2412 m). We follow the signpost and slightly right of the ridge over sheep meadows into rocky-scree covered terrain with some transverse bars that are easy to overcome at Grade I. The summit buildup comes and we reach the short via ferrata with a left traverse. This is followed by a chimney diagonally right upwards over steps and gutters in rocky terrain to the fore summit. We keep left slightly downwards and the last section over steep steps and a chimney to the summit.

Descent back to the Galtseitejoch and continue on the ridge path until a shepherd's hut can be seen from above. On the hiking trail further into the original Fundaistal and back to Boden.
