From Lechleiten, ascent via the Biberkopf route up to Hundskopf. The path is good and leads uphill for about 1.5 hours through dwarf pines and woodland. After about two-thirds of the way, there's an old hay barn set up for hikers to rest a bit. From Hundskopf, only slight inclines remain. On the southwest side of Biberkopf, enjoy magnificent views of the upper Lechtal, Bockbach, Krabachtal, Kaisers, and Lech at nearly the same altitude all the way to the Mäauerleshütte. You can frequently spot chamois. From the Mäuerleshütte, follow the Brandboden trail through forest and dwarf pines onto the Adlerweg past the climbing garden back to Lechleiten.
