A very varied high-altitude hike over four summits with great views of the Iller valley and surrounding mountains. There are several places to stop for refreshments...
Extraordinarily beautiful high-altitude hike that can also be enjoyed in winter with snowshoes.

Roadbook
Leave the parking lot heading south into the Bolgental. You pass the Sonderkreuz and then the Zunkleitenalm. Continue to the Berghaus Schwaben – here a break with lunch is recommended.
After the break, walk about 100 m further towards the mountain station, turn left and follow the somewhat steep path up to the ridge height. Now keep right and follow the path to the Weiherkopf. Continue along the well-marked route over the Rangiswanger Horn, past below the Sigiswanger Horn, passing the Fahnengehrenalpe up to the Ofterschwanger Horn. (You can also easily cross the Sigiswanger Horn off-trail, which is fun, but you either need experience or a precise GPS device.)
The shortest descent to the bus stop in Ofterschwang leads over the Buchenschwandalpe and the Tobelweg in about 1 hour.
