Das 1616 m hohe Rangiswanger Horn liegt in der Hörnergruppe in den Allgäuer Alpen zwischen dem Weiherkopf und dem Ofterschwanger Horn.
Der grasbewachsene Gipfel zwischen Ofterschwang und Bolsterlag ist sehr beliebt und daher auch teilweise stark frequentiert. Der Aussichtsberg mit seinen großen Alpenrosenfeldern, freien Hängen und Bergwiesen bietet einen wunderbaren Panoramablick. Nach Norden ist der Grünten zu sehen, im Osten die Hindelanger Berge wie Rotspitze, Daumengruppe und Imberger Horn, im Süden die Oberstdorfer Berge wie Rubihorn, Nebelhorn und Kratzer, und im Westen die Nagelfluhkette.
Im Sommer ist der Gipfel dank der Ofterschwanger Bahn bequem zu erreichen und auch eine Überschreitung von der Hörnerbahn Bolsterlang bietet sich an. Im Winter ist das Rangiswanger Horn ein beliebter Skitourenberg. Der Aufstieg ist für jedermann gut zu machen und kaum lawinengefährdet.
