A seven-day trek through Gran Paradiso National Park with stunning views of Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso. In addition to trails, block terrain and snowfields will have to be traversed
The hut trek crosses the Gran Paradiso Park from east to west. It crosses three mountain ridges which, coming from the main ridge, separate Val Savarenche, Val di Rhêmes and Valgrisenche. There will be a lot of altimeters to climb, with the descent on the third day being particularly difficult. Overall, however, the tour is not difficult.
This is mainly because there are good paths almost everywhere. High alpine terrain occurs mainly in the second part of the trek. This does put some higher demands on us: no trails, but block terrain and snow here and there. Interesting summit peaks to climb are Punta del Tuf (3,339m) and Punta Basei (3,337m).
Note: This trek has been staged by the NKBV in the past. Due to possible changing conditions, you are always responsible for checking current route conditions yourself. Be informed at the local tourist office or by the experts of the respective region, that way you will be safe and prepared.
