    Diese anspruchsvolle Bergtour zählt zu den eindrucksvollsten Überschreitungen im Alpbachtal und verlangt sehr gute Kondition, Trittsicherheit sowie alpine Erfahrung. Ausgangspunkt ist die Bergstation der Wiedersbergerhornbahn, die bequem auf rund 1.800 Meter Seehöhe bringt. Zu Beginn führt der Weg vorbei am Aussichtspunkt „Das Tor zum Alpbachtal“, der bereits beeindruckende Ausblicke auf die umliegende Bergwelt eröffnet. Über steile, offene Hänge geht es anschließend hinauf zum Wiedersberger Horn. Nach einer aussichtsreichen Gratpassage erreichst du die Hornalm und den Aussichtsturm „Top of Alpbachtal“, wo spektakuläre Panoramablicke auf die Kitzbüheler Alpen und das Inntal warten.

    Die Route setzt sich entlang des Grates über den Standkopf fort, bevor die sehr anspruchsvolle Überschreitung der Sagtaler Spitzen folgt. Beim Krinnjoch gehts weiter Richtung Dristenkopf und kleinem Galtenberg. Nun folgt der Weg weiter auf den Großen Galtenberg, den höchsten Berg des Alpbachtals, ein weiterer Höhepunkt der Tour. Im langen, teils steilen Abstieg öffnet sich die weitläufige Almlandschaft der Stettauer Alm mit herrlichen Ausblicken ins Tal. Der letzte Abschnitt führt durch das Alpbachtal nach Inneralpbach, vorbei am Alpbacher Bergbauernmuseum bis zur Bushaltestelle. Zum Abschluss lädt Connys Tiroler Wirtshaus in Inneralpbach oder die Zirmalm zur wohlverdienten Einkehr ein. Zurück zur Talstation der Wiedersbergerhornbahn fährt der Bus 620.

    A12 motorway – take the Kramsach exit, then turn left into the Alpbachtal Valley. Continue past Reith im Alpbachtal towards Alpbach. The Wiedersbergerhorn cable car valley station is located on the right-hand side.
