Bockbach

Take the hiking bus to the valley station of the Rüfikopf cable car in Lech. Ascend with the Rüfikopf cable car. Easy descent to Ochsengümple then easy ascent to Friedrich Mayer Weg. Beautiful views towards Lech, the Karhornstock, the Auenfeld, and the Bregenzerwald. After the Wöstersattel, pass by the upper Wösteralp. Then descend to the lower Wösteralp where the upper section is slightly steep and overgrown (slippery). After the lower Wösteralp, the path is not easy to see; it's best to walk at a right angle from the hut towards the stream and look for the path across the water. You will then immediately get onto the path to Bockbach. The trail gently goes downhill through the wild Bockbach and is somewhat muddy in places, especially in bad weather. At the end of the path lies the romantic Bockbach with the option to stop for refreshments at Älpele directly on the path or slightly off the trail at Gams Vroni. After the break, follow the old Bockbach path to the bus stop and return to Warth by the Lechtal bus.
