Equipment
The following equipment you should have with you when biking:
Approved and pre-checked mountain bike or e-bike with light, reflectors, and bell
Cycling shoes, cycling gloves, and helmet
Bike backpack
Sufficient provisions: drinks, preferably water in a refillable bottle or hydration system, at least one meal and snacks such as energy bars for in between; also think of a small plastic bag for waste!
Proper clothing, jacket, possibly change of clothes, and possibly rain gear (check weather forecast!)
Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, and head covering
Mobile phone (charged!) with emergency app, ID, possibly Alpine Club membership card and cash for the huts
First aid kit, blister plasters, and tissues
Repair kit, possibly with spare tube and small pump
Bicycle lock
The motto is: as much as necessary, as little as possible.
