The Sertig Pass was used for many years by the Swiss Alpine Marathon but was replaced by the Scaletta Pass some time ago.
The proposed route leads from Bergün through Val Tuors via Chants through Val da Ravais-ch and past the two picturesque Ravais-ch lakes in a continuous ascent directly to the Sertig Pass, is shorter than variant A, and from Chants leads entirely over trails. Variant A is partially very steep from Chants to the Kesch Hut and uses a vehicle track. From the Kesch Hut it then goes down another 200 meters on trails before the final ascent to the pass.
