The cycle route in Slovak Karst National Park combines active leisure time in an exceptionally valuable natural environment and the opportunity to discover unique karst phenomena in the largest karst area in Central Europe.

The shortest hike to the Silická ľadnica follows the marked yellow hiking trail from the parking lot in front of the village Silica.
Roadbook
The cycle route starts in Plešivec where we connect to the marked blue cycle route towards Silica. The route follows the flow of the Slaná river and in the Gombasek (Podzávoz) section it transitions onto state road no. 8733 towards Silica. At the beginning of the village Silica, we turn right onto the marked red cycle route towards Kečovo. We pass through the village Silická Brezová and pass several karst phenomena until we reach the mentioned Kečovo from where we return to Plešivec following the red cycle route along the state road.

Plešivec is located on class I road 16 from Rožňava to Rimavská Sobota, on class II road 587 from Hungary towards Štítnik, and on class III road 3005 from the village Gemerská Hôrka, as well as on the railway line ŽSR 160: Zvolen passenger station - Košice.
