The small route leads into the foothills of the southwest mountains of the Harz.
The easy route leads from the edge of the Harz up to Eselsplatz and offers a beautiful view of Lerbach, which lies stretched out in the valley. From Bärenkopf, it then goes downhill again back over the Söse dam to Osterode. Since the route has only a few easy single trails, it is also suitable for families.
