For experienced mountain bikers, the professional route starting from Nonnweiler is recommended. Over nearly 47 km, the route goes up and down some steep and downhill sections.
Due to the varying trail conditions, the route is very diverse and impresses with numerous sights, including the Primstalsperre, the Celtic ring fort (detour), or the Nahe spring. A special view is offered from the 584 m high Peterberg, which also represents the highest point. It's worth taking a break there. A visit to the Peterberg Chapel should not be missed. A pause is also worthwhile at Hofgut Imsbach, from where you can choose a connection to MTB 3 and to Johann-Adams-Mühle, also an inn. A shortcut can be taken at Kastel.
