Author’s recommendation
Route reserved for more experienced riders.
Pay attention to the operating hours of the lifts.
Along the route there is a pushing section (10 minutes) and a "portage" section (bike on shoulder - 5 minutes).
It is possible to return without a transfer, using the MTB 804 route which from Ranzo goes back to Nembia.
The restaurant "La Tana dell'Ermellino" and the refuges "La Roda" and "Bait del Germano" are ideal spots for a typical lunch or a break to regain energy.
Along the route there are several fountains to refill water: at the former Forest Nursery, in Loc. Priori, and in the town centers of Margone and Ranzo.
Spectacular views alternate throughout the entire route, bring your camera.

DPB Rules: http://www.dolomitipaganellabike.com/trentino/it/noi/regolamento
1 Use open trails
Respect the trail and access bans. Check with landowners or authorities if in doubt about the ban reasons or the trail condition. Respect private property. If necessary, request permits to access trails.
2 Leave no trace
Respect the territory. Wet and muddy trails are more vulnerable than dry ones. Consider other cycling options when the ground is soft. Stay on existing trails and do not create new ones. Do not take shortcuts by cutting corners. Take your waste with you.
3 Ride carefully
A moment of distraction can endanger you and others. Respect speed limits and ride in a way that you always control the bike.
4 Yield correctly
Make sure other trail users know you’re about to overtake with a friendly greeting or bell. Always assume someone could be behind a corner. Cyclists must yield to all non-motorized trail users, unless the trail is clearly bike-only. Downhill cyclists must yield to uphill cyclists, unless the trail is marked as one-way downhill. Ensure every overtake is safe and polite.
5 Do not scare animals
Animals startle easily from sudden approaches, movements or noises. Give them enough space and time to get used to your presence. Pay special attention when passing horses; if uncertain, ask the rider.
6 Plan your rides
Know your gear, skills and the area where you ride and prepare accordingly. Strive to be self-sufficient: maintain your gear and carry essentials for weather or other changes. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear (downhill protection plus lights and reflectors if riding at night).
As you can imagine, trail passability in a mountain environment is closely related to current conditions and depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather. Therefore, the information in this sheet may have changed. Before departure, check the trail status by contacting hut managers, alpine guides, nature park visitor centers and tourist offices.
