A fairytale castle that seems to be born from the waters of the lake. If you're looking for the perfect spot for a romantic photo to keep in your drawer or share, you've come to the right place.
What could be better than a Renaissance castle built on a strip of land that extends into a lake surrounded by woods and vineyards? Nothing, especially if you are looking for an ideal setting to take unforgettable photos. Located in the Valle dei Laghi between Padergnone and Sarche in the municipality of Madruzzo, in the province of Trento, the castle is considered one of the most romantic places in Trentino. An ancient legend also contributes to the idyllic atmosphere that identifies this manor as the theatre of forbidden love between the prince-bishop of Trento Carlo Emanuele Madruzzo and the noblewoman Claudia Particella. The medieval crenellated walls that surround the entire structure and the surrounding park are very scenic.

Castle visible from the outside.
When the main door is open you can access the inner courtyard of the walls. The Castel Toblino Association offers guided tours by appointment.
