Kouty - Charcoal Burner’s Trail

The trail starts below the upper station of the cable car “Medvědí Hora”, where it meanders across the entire width of the downhill slope “U vrtulí”. At the end of this slope, at the trail crossing, it turns left into the forest, crosses the cable car and the downhill route “Hřebenovka” (you need to stop and look around at this point!!!). The trail continues downhill along the old charcoal burner’s path and the end of this path connects to a forest road running flat for 2.5 km to the place called “U obrázku” (because of this section, the route is not ideal for downhill bikes). Then the route continues downhill along the forest road, before the transmitter it turns right into a deciduous forest and continues here with a pleasant trail composed of banked turns and terrain waves. After crossing the forest road, it leads further by trail to the downhill slope “U snowparku” and to the lower station of the cable car “Liščí potok”.
