"High Weißensee"
Clear your mind of can't...
This long day route opens the portal to a new consciousness, massively boosting serotonin release, furthermore optimizing the proper working of synapses. A true delicacy - for those who can meet these high demands.
There are consistently rideable ascents combined with a somewhat longer and tough pushing section. Many technically demanding single-trails up to a maximum of S3 give this extended route day the "final touch", so it can rightly be claimed that this is a TOP route!
For approximately 3500m altitude difference and 100km, trained and resilient MTB riders should calculate 10 - 11 hours of pure riding time (without breaks)!
This circuit is basically divided into five ascents, with several recovery phases in between.
Once the first, long climb to Goldeck is mastered, the biggest "chunk" is overcome. Beautiful and technically moderately challenging descents follow to the Gusenalm.
Then the next tricky part awaits: the long pushing or carrying passage to Eckwandsattel. Here the pulse will inevitably rise and the muscles will involuntarily produce a lot of unwanted lactic acid...
Especially worth mentioning is the fun descent from Stosia Alm down to the Weißensee east shore. The approximately 800m descent spoils downhill enthusiasts with flowing and challenging paths, consistently in the S2 range with some longer S3 sections!
To make this round even more attractive, the Panorama Trail West from the Naggler Alm was also included. It stretches over 3.5km in many flowing switchbacks into the valley and brings a wide smile to the riders' faces!
All in all, a truly worthwhile and extremely versatile bike round around the paradisiacal Weißensee, an absolute "must" for inquisitive individualists with a strongly pronounced research instinct!

Caution when descending from Eckwandsattel to Stosia Alm. The long traverse must be enjoyed with special care - there is a high risk of falling in sections here!
In case of doubt, it is better to push in this area.
Otherwise, basically a quite safe route, which runs very secluded from the Goldeck summit to the Weißensee east shore...
