Dobler View

The circular mountain bike tour starts in Dobel at the spa house parking lot. With the bike, you ride through the Sonnentor, past the observation tower (former water tower) towards the sports field. From there, the tour continues straight along the Großlohweg to the Weithäusle Square. At the large fork in the path, you continue on the gravel road to the Schweizerkopf Hut. There you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Palatinate Mountains, Murg valley, and also the Odenwald. After a short break, the tour continues along the gravel Hahnenfalzweg keeping left up to the Hahnenfalz Hut. At the fountain of the Hahnenfalz Hut, you can refill your water bottle fresh. Continue straight ahead to the sharp curve (Ächtlesweg) and then keep left to the Langmartskopf Hut (Herrenalbweg) and finally to Kreuzlehütte. At Kreuzlehütte, follow the signposts "Green Hut" and take the "Upper Horn Path" to "Dobler View." Dobler View is hidden on the left side. You leave your bikes by the roadside and walk the short distance to the swing called "Dobler View." After enjoying the view, the tour continues over Weißenstein Hut to the Green Hut. The Green Hut invites you to stop for refreshments. After strengthening yourself, the return trip begins from the Green Hut on the "new Green Hut path" to the Lehen Hut (shelter). The path to the Eyach Mill leads downhill on the "Old Line Path" keeping left onto Schaiblesweg. Upon arriving at the Eyach Mill, it’s almost three kilometers uphill back to Dobel (road route).
