The starting point of the panoramic tour is the automotive city of Zwickau. By following the signs toward the Zwickau-West interchange (A72), you’ll turn off Lengenfelder Straße onto the S293 bypass toward Hirschfeld. From there, the route leads to Stangengrün (winner of the “Our Village Has a Future” contest). Following the challenging country road to Obercrinitz, you continue through Bärenwalde and Rothenkirchen to Stützengrün. A scenic detour to the Kuhberg is highly recommended. From Stützengrün, you’ll reach Hundshübel. If you follow the sound of engines, you’ll arrive at the Eibenstock Dam Viewpoint, the region’s most popular biker hangout. Refreshed, the route continues through the charcoal-burning and mining community of Sosa.

The “Köhlerei Glas” lookout point is a must-see. The tour continues at a brisk pace along winding roads through Jägerhaus, Bockau, and Lauter to Schwarzenberg. After a visit to the castle, the route continues through the Oswald Valley to Waschleithe (via Grünhain/Bierfeld). In Waschleithe itself, the next biker hangout awaits at the “Boxenluder” biker service station. If you ride to Markersbach, past the pumped-storage power plant, and on to Crottendorf, you’ll arrive directly via the B101 in Annaberg-Buchholz, the “Berg- und Adam-Ries-Stadt.”

From there, follow the B95 and continue through Ehrenfriedersdorf toward Geyer. A visit to the Greifensteine (Ehrenfriedersdorf) is well worth it. From Geyer, the route leads via Zwönitz and Affalter to Hartenstein, from where you can return to Zwickau via Wildenfels.
