Der Wasserfall als Relikt aus dem Altbergbau stellt ein ganzjähriges Wanderziel dar. Mit der Raststation und dem erfrischenden Wassertretbecken lädt der Wasserfall zum Erholen ein.

Der Wasserfall im von Brüchen gekennzeichneten Grubengelände ist ein Zeugnis des alten Silberbergbaus. Es grenzt an das einstige Vitriol- und Schwefelwerk. Der Zufluss für den Wasserfall ist ein alter Kunstgraben, den man noch teilweise sehen kann.

Direkt am Wasserfall gibt es einen Rastplatz mit zahlreichen Sitzbänken und in den heißen Sommertagen können sich die Wanderer hier in einem Wassertretbecken erfrischen.

Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist "Geyer, Zwönitzer Straße", ca. 0,5 km weit.

Von der Bundestraße 95 in Richtung Geyer und aus Geyer in Richtung Zwönitz. Direkt an Geyer werden sie links und rechts Parkplätze mit Infotafeln sehen, dort ist der Ausgangspunkt.
