Rolling hills, dense forests and picturesque valleys are complemented by charming villages, traditional inns and stunning viewpoints.

    Author’s recommendation

The tour is best enjoyed between spring and autumn. Be sure to allow enough time for the many scenic viewpoints and inviting places to stop along the way. The section across the historic Semmering and the Feistritzsattel offers some of the most enjoyable riding of the entire route. Travelling on weekdays usually means less traffic and an even more relaxed riding experience.
