Adventure trail via the Klause

By making Klause Pöllauberg more attractive, the municipality of Pöllauberg has created a real highlight that perfectly combines nature, fun and traffic relief. The new family-friendly connecting path from the entrance to the village square is not only a practical project, but also an enormous enrichment for the entire region.
Park comfortably at the Naturpark Arena and then enjoy the Klause adventure trail - that's the start of a relaxed excursion in Pöllauberg.
The family-friendly connecting trail leads you through idyllic nature with exciting play stations, informative boards and an audio station full of stories and humor.
The trail ends directly at the village square, where the impressive Pöllauberg pilgrimage church awaits.

A path that connects - experiencing nature made easy
The almost 600-metre-long trail begins at the parking lot at the entrance to Pöllauberg and blends harmoniously into the landscape with a gentle gradient of just 4 to 6 percent. This makes it ideal for families with baby carriages, walkers and older people who want to enjoy nature to the full.

Highlights along the connecting path
To make the walk more varied, numerous play stations have been installed along the path. Children can climb, balance and play, while adults can discover the information boards about the history of the pilgrimage site of Pöllauberg. A special highlight is the audio station, where stories, rhymes and jokes by Pöllauberg humorist Peter Töglhofer provide amusing entertainment.

A benefit for the community
This innovative LEADER project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, the Province of Styria and the European Union, makes a significant contribution to relieving the village square and at the same time promotes a sense of community and the attractiveness of the region.
