The cycling route is marked in green. It is passable in both directions and runs entirely along a field road in a meadowy, mountainous area with many beautiful views. You will feel like you are in the Low Tatras :).
The route starts at Sedlo Pleso, from where it heads northeast. About 150 meters in, on the right side (80 m from the cycle route) is one of the most beautiful views in the Štiavnica Mountains. You can see the Piargske tajchy and Sitno hill here. We recommend visiting it and returning the same way to the cycle route.
Then continue along a forest road carved into the hill, and after a short forested section with a brief ascent, the field road levels out vertically and winds through the meadowy terrain with panoramic views of Sitno and the surroundings. It passes by an old shepherd's hut in the Košiarna valley and continues to Sedlo pod Kanderkou. From there, it leads with a short climb to Farárova hôrka with views of Kerling and Hadová.
Here the field road turns left and gently descends, then begins to climb again up to the cycle route's end point - Horná Roveň.
Author’s recommendation
Take advantage of the winding flat terrain through the meadows to enjoy the natural surroundings around you. Don't rush :).
