The route is named in honor of the tourism pioneer MUDr. E.V. Téry and starts in the spa town Dudince, at the crossroads of several cycling routes. At the start, it follows the Tesárska route along field roads to the village of Hontianske Tesáre, where the red marking then turns right and continues north toward Ladzany. The route then follows the valley of the Klastava creek along a forest road by the Klastava mill, to Baďan and continues with a steady ascent to the largest Štiavnica lake Počúvadlo, below Sitno hill, up to the highest pass of the route, Peciny. The magistral here turns left to the south toward the Large Richnava lake and descends to the Sementlov area and further to Dekýš, from where through the Jabloňovský Roháč nature reserve you reach Jabloňovce. From there on asphalt, low-traffic roads through Bátovce to Žemberovce and rolling terrain to the village of Hontianske Trsťany. The final section runs along a third-class road through the village of Hontianske Moravce back to Dudince.
